Pregnancy guidance
LimitChocolate hazelnut spread should be limited during pregnancy because of high added sugar and palm oil content. While hazelnuts contribute minor trace minerals, more than half of the jar consists of refined sugar. Overconsumption can complicate gestational blood sugar management and promote rapid weight gain. Spread a thin teaspoon over whole-grain toast with banana slices when you crave a chocolate flavor.
